Atomi – User Instructions for Students

What is Atomi?

Atomi on opiskelijoille ja henkilökunnalle tarkoitettu palvelu, joka sujuvoittaa hallinnollista prosessia opiskelijan tarvitsemien tulosteiden ja raporttien tuottamisessa. Atomi luo sähköisen allekirjoituksen suoraan Atomi-palvelusta tilattavaan dokumenttiin.

Where can I find the Atomi service?

You can find the Atomi service in the link section of the study administration system or here.

Using the Atomi service

The service is easy to use! On the Atomi front page, you will see the documents (e.g. transcripts and certificates) that you can order from your educational institution through Atomi.

Ordering a document

You can order a document as follows:

Deleting documents

There is a limit to the number of documents that can be stored in Atomi. In most cases, this maximum number is 20 documents per student. If you reach this limit, you must delete previously ordered documents from Atomi before new ones can be ordered.

If necessary, you can download old documents for your own records before deleting them from Atomi. Documents ordered from Atomi should be stored in electronic form, as the authenticity of electronic documents can be verified by using electronic verification services. The educational institution cannot verify the authenticity of documents that are printed on paper.

To delete documents:

  1. Go to the ‘DOCUMENTS’ tab
  2. Go to the row of the document you want to delete and click on the trash can icon.
  3. The document has now been deleted from Atomi. If necessary, you can always order a new document with up-to-date information!

Degree certificates

If an electronic degree certificate has been created and sent to the student, a new tab called ‘Degree Certificate’ will appear. From this tab, the student can download the certificate produced and sent by the educational institution. The tab may contain several certificates in situations where the student has completed several degrees and/or educational programmes for which an electronic certificate has been issued by the same educational institution.
